sound-bit sized policy-platform slogans
Having heard the US needs some rational, sound-bit sized policy-platform slogans, I made up some:
1. Restore balance of powers; let only Congress declare, and fund, war.
2. As corporations are property, they can’t legally be people.
3. Keep the National Guard inside US borders.
4. Rein in banking & balance the budget: make the Federal Reserve public property.
5. Protect our Planet – use renewable energy.
6. Subsidize improved public education.
7. Lessen chemical dependencies: engineer a sound food policy.
